This client approached us to assist with a loft conversion for their semi-detached home. With limited head height available, the project posed various structural challenges. But through innovative, well-considered design, we were able to maximise the space to deliver a small yet ergonomic dormer loft space.

This new build was built adjoining an existing semi-detached property, creating a large, end-of-terrace, three-storey dwelling. Situated on a steep-banked hill, the designs required extensive earth retention. We provided careful structural calculations for all aspects of the build, along with comprehensive designs for its concrete retaining walls.
